an incredible cry.

Posted by citipointelive on Friday Mar 6, 2009 Under Inspiration

Hey everyone

This is an incredible cry from a heart after God.
Read it, get it in your spirit, and be blessed!

I am a part of the fellowship of the Unashamed. I have the Holy Spirit Power. The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I won’t look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, and my future is secure. I am finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tame visions, mundane talking, chintzy giving, and dwarfed goals.

I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I don’t have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded, or rewarded. I now live by presence, learn by faith, love by patience, lift by prayer, and labor by power. My pace is set, my gait is fast, my goal is Heaven, my road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions few, my Guide is reliable, my mission is clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, deterred, lured away, turned back, diluted, or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity.

I won’t give up, back up, let up, or shut up until I’ve preached up, prayed up, paid up, stored up, and stayed up for the cause of Christ. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I must go until He returns, give until I drop,
preach until all know, and work until He comes.

And when He comes to get His own, He will have no problem recognizing me. My banner will be clear! for “I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.. -author unknown

It’s our time!

Huge 09: The Commissioning

Posted by citipointelive on Tuesday Feb 3, 2009 Under Inspiration

WOW! 2009 has really started. Things are booking up, my diary is filling ever so fast, honestly I’m a little scared! Lucky for the strength of Jesus Christ hey. The Commissioning 2009 was phenomenal, as soon as January arrived we all came back from holidays, and hit the ground running. Finalizing all the nitty gritty little stuff to pull this gathering off. First of all I have to say our team did so amazing.

I just want to say to all you who were there, thank you for your hearts of worship. I felt like I didn’t even have to lead the worship, you all just came in expecting with hearts open, selfishness aside ready to lift up our Jesus. Man I love it. Also John Bevere’s word was incredible & opened our eyes, so challenging! I’m scared to miss God’s plan for me hey! I don’t want some one else taking the job that was meant for me, you know?

People were baptized in the holy spirit, baptized in water & anointed with oil, then commissioned to go out and do what we Christians are supposed to do and make disciples of all nations, starting with our individual towns and cities.

Make sure you check out www.thecommisionging.com to stay tuned for 2010

God is alive in me.

Posted by citipointelive on Monday Dec 15, 2008 Under Inspiration

God is alive in me.  What a thought! The Creator of everything – humanity, the earth, the universe – is actually woven into the very fabric of my soul.  Whatever I do, He does.  Whatever I say, He hears.  That is a crazy thought.
I’ve just been thinking about this lately and how the most pleasing worship to God is not our corporate rallies when we come together, get lost amongst the crowd, get inspired to lift our hands because we’re caught in the moment, but really it’s the little things that please Him the most.  It’s our very heartbeat that He cares about.  What we think, what we say, if we act out of love or selfishness towards others.  Now, that’s an even crazier thought, that our little offerings of worship, the smallest things in life, can be the greatest acts of worship!

Beautiful, humble & pure spirit

Posted by citipointelive on Monday Dec 8, 2008 Under Inspiration

Hello to you wonderful peeps,

I want to quickly chat to anyone who is a worshiper, worship leader or worship pastor. Below is what I believe is a key ingredient into a beautiful, humble and pure spirit.

Servant hood – a value worth protecting.

We are creating servants in the house of God not Superstars.

This is not a gig it is ministry!

As volunteers and leaders we have a certain responsibility to encourage a humble and pure heart in the life of our worship team and congregation. One of our respected roles as a worshiper is that of embracing the role of servant hood.

· Serving in the areas of our gifts, on and off stage should be viewed as an honor not a chore.

· Serving behind the scenes is just as important to God as serving a congregation with great worship from stage, in fact it is more important because it shows God the real you and what your heart values when you don’t get seen.

· Serving from stage – must result in people’s eyes, hearts and thoughts being guided and lifted toward our Heavenly daddy, and how GREAT He is. (Not to how great we may think we are). Let God be seen!

Quote:

“Talent is God given. Be humble.

Fame is man given. Be grateful.

Conceit is self given. Be careful”

-John Wooden

This kind of belief is big, and it is up to us as leaders to confront and communicate this culture within our team and church.

Love Becky

Serve to lead

Posted by Joel on Tuesday Nov 4, 2008 Under Inspiration

Joel Ramsey

Hello you beautiful people, Joel here.
I’m not really used to writing blogs and I am terrible with grammar because I skipped year 9, so don’t judge me! Haha!

But seriously, I’m so excited at the moment! We are coming up to the end of the year and normally I’m pretty tired and extremely ready for a holiday. (Not saying I don’t want a holiday). But I’m excited, there is so much happening and things are moving forward.

Lately, I have been reading the ‘Spiritual Leadership’ by J. Oswald Sanders. It’s so good. I have been learning so much on leading and the one big thing that seems to be really sticking out to me is that the best way to lead is to SERVE. Which must be saying something to me if that’s sticking out to me!

We should know that to lead we need to first serve just like Jesus did. But I had this thought that most times we think we have to LEAD our team at church or so therefore, we should serve our team, which yes is correct. So therefore it must also be correct that the best way to lead those that don’t yet know Christ is not to let them know all the wrong thing’s they are doing and hound them about their life choices, but lead them to Jesus (key word LEAD). Serving and loving them in their dark moments and not being the one who would say ‘I told you’.

We need to be the one’s who are there to help, whatever it takes. I don’t know just a thought I felt to share. I love you all. Remember : basically our whole purpose of being a Christian is to love God and love people. It’s our commission!

Much Love

What’s in your hand?

Posted by citipointelive on Tuesday Nov 4, 2008 Under Inspiration

At our cell group last night, we viewed the photos (all 289 of them!) of the construction of the 2 story classrooms in Vanuatu that 6 guys from our cell participated in.

I was blown away that a building of that size and quality could be built in 2 weeks.  This was because they used what God had placed in their hands.  Their was no point for a musical accountant to join them and cause more damage than good!

But put me in front of a keyboard and with the Holy Spirit’s leading, I can guide people into the presence of our Almighty God.  When we ALL use what God has put in our hands, for His Glory, our world will be transformed.

What’s in your hand?

Exciting new album

Posted by citipointelive on Tuesday Nov 4, 2008 Under Inspiration

Aaron Lucas

Howdy friends

Things are happening at a fast pace here on our side of the world!  I guess life is like that for many, whatever sphere of life your in.

Well, it’s exciting with our new album already released.  Many creative man/woman hours have gone into this project.  Lack of sleep and coffee seemed to be an ongoing habit but by God’s grace we pulled through.

It’s been an awesome journey seeing the power of God on these songs changing lives.  We pray that you also, will be blessed and encouraged to deepen your devotion to the One who has shown the ultimate devotion to us all.

We pray that this album would be so much more than just songs, but they would become your daily cry to come to know His love so that we can be love to our world!

Much love

Lift your eyes

Posted by citipointelive on Tuesday Nov 4, 2008 Under Inspiration

Becky Lucas

Hi to all our Friends,

This is a quick and wonderful encouragement from me to you, to help lift your eyes toward our incredible God, who is completely deserving of all we have to offer.

I absolutely believe God was inspired when he created you; He made you brilliant and wonderful. Your life has been ordered by God and you have not yet reached your end – You can be more than you are right now!

The Bible says ³Our Best is yet to come! Reach for it. God is worthy of our best²

I pray you believe that, cause I know I do.

All my Love, Becky
